The Apple Community College Alliance was created in March, 1990 to develop and encourage the use of Macintosh computer technology in two-year colleges. The organization is a joint project of Apple Computer and the League for Innovation in the Community College. The alliance represents a nearly $2 million investment by Apple, which includes equipment grants, as well as technical and support services.
In return, each of the 10 colleges in the alliance serves as a model demonstration, training, and support center for faculty, staff, and students.
The best way to get more information about the alliance is to call or write the “Key Contact” at a participating college in your area.
